Delta Refundable Tickets - What Does It Mean and How to Buy?

Suppose you have booked a flight on Delta, and due to sudden changes in plan, you have decided to cancel your flight. Do you think you will get the full amount of your flight which you have booked for? Whenever you book a flight, Delta allows you to purchase either a refundable ticket or a non-refundable ticket. Delta refundable tickets are tickets for which you will receive full reimbursement of your flight if you cancel it; the reimbursement could be in any form, like travel credits or cash, whereas Delta non-refundable tickets can’t help you to get full or partial refunds.

What type of Delta tickets are refundable?

Please note all flight tickets canceled within 24 hours of booking are eligible for complete refund despite their ticket type. However, this rule applies on the booking made at least seven days before the scheduled departure.
