Also, the passenger is entitled $700 per passenger if the itinerary is canceled 14 days or less before actual departure. 

2. Delay flight compensation

If the airline is found responsible for the delay, then the airline is entitled to offer compensation of $700 to the passenger, if the delay is more than 3 hours as per the TAP Portugal flight compensation policy.

Further, if the flight is delayed because of some external reasons, then no compensation be offered.
