  • When the airline changes your flight, they will reschedule it for a new date and time without any charges. 
  • If the airline modifies your flight, then every passenger has the right to request a full refund.
  • You can request a different departure time from the airline, and they have to provide you with a different flight within the same time limit, and if you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund.   

How to change a flight without paying any charges?

If your plans suddenly change and you want to change your flight, you must pay some charges. However, if you want to change the flight without paying any fee, then you can read the given points:
   
Change flight within 24 hours - You do not have to pay any fee if you change your flight within 24 hours of making the purchase, as many airlines provide a 24-hour flight change policy.
 
Change flight for the same day- You can make the changes for the same day but at a different time. It does not affect your arrival destination, and you must make the changes 72 hours before the departure time. However, you still have to pay a small amount which will be less than the other fine.
 
Contact airline representative - Contact the airline and explain your situation to the representative, and they will provide you with the best option. You can also get information on the fine and the flight change policy.

How to change my flight online? 

If you have decided to change your flight, the quickest method is online. If you have no idea how to change a flight using the online process, then no problem, as you can follow the given steps:
  • Open the airline mobile app or official website from any web browser.
  • Click on the “My trips” section from the menu.
  • Enter your “Ticket number” and “Last name.”
  • Tap on the “Flight change” button.
  • Select the preferred flight per your choice.
  • Pay the amount to change the flight, and you will get information about your new flight details in your email. 

How much will it cost me to change my flight?

If you consider changing your flight, the cost depends on the airline you are flying from. If you are traveling with Southwest Airlines, then there are no charges to change your flight. If you have made a reservation with another airline, the fine to change or cancel the flight is  $50-$200, depending on the arrival destination and time left for the departure.
